A Poet in Every Port - Poetry Performance

To celebrate the unique voices, accents, and dialects of the UK coastline, Southbank Centre’s National Poetry Library is hitting the road! A Poet in Every Port is a nationwide tour bringing a specially designed mobile library to 11 coastal towns. In June, we will be visiting Chatham for a day of activity in partnership with Estuary Festival and will round off the day with a celebration of local poetry, alongside A Poet in Every Port’s Ambassador, national treasure, Roger McGough.

• David Dykes has been selected as Southbank Centre’s New Poets Collective Poet for Medway.
