One of the treasures held at Medway Archives Centre is a manuscript by Robert Sands. It is an account of his experience on board HMS Temeraire at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Call in to discover more about this young man from Medway, who was at one of the most famous battles in naval history.
The display runs from Monday, 10 November 2025 to Saturday, 14 February 2026 during normal opening hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 12.30pm, closed on Wednesday and Sunday). It is free to view.
Please note Medway Archives Centre will be closed for Collections Care from Saturday, 27 December 2025 to Saturday, 10 January 2026.
