The Not Forgotten project was designed for KS2 children and funded as part of Their Past Your Future 2, a lottery initiative designed to raise awareness of remembrance amongst young people. Westminster Archives originally developed this project in partnership with Bexley and Medway Archives, and four primary schools from the home towns of the soldiers. The schools involved in the project were: Mundella Primary, Folkestone; All Saints Primary, Chatham; Birkbeck Primary, Sidcup; and St Vincent de Paul RC Primary, Westminster. Focuses on four soldiers - Walter Tull; Richard ‘Monty’ Daniel; Thomas Highgate; and Francis Swainson.Includes activity projects for school children.
