Biography/History:
Barbara Krasner is a freelance writer from Somerset, New Jersey, who enjoys writing about American history. Her particular expertise is in 20th-century America and the Holocaust. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and completed her MA in History at William Paterson University, where she teaches composition and creative writing. Her debut picture book, Goldie Takes a Stand: Golda Meir's First Crusade, was named a 2015 Sydney Taylor Honor Book for Young Readers by the Association of Jewish Libraries.
