Biography/History:
Kit Downes has just finished his final year at the University of Wales, Bangor, studying English and History. He spends much of his free time searching for "good" stories and writing his own when he can't find enough. The idea for Zal and Zara and the Great Race of Azamed came to him in a café in Hay-on-Wye in the summer after leaving school, and he finished writing it in his first term at university. When he graduates, Kit plans to keep writing and travelling so as to avoid getting a real job for as long as possible.
